TEFAP is a federal program designed to provide emergency food and nutrition assistance to individuals and families in need. The quantity and variety of food you receive depend on your family size.

​Next Steps for Receiving Food:

  1. Visit the Food Closet during open hours or call us at 775-782-3711 x1 to request an appointment with our Client Intake Specialist.

  2. Emergency food fills available as resources allow

What to Bring to your appointment:

  1. Bring photo identification 

  2. Bring Proof of Residency (such as a utility bill, lease agreement, or mail with your name and address)

  3. Receive Food Assistance Based on Eligibility
