Prescription Pantry
As a partner agency of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, we are pleased to offer the Prescription Pantry Program to help individuals living with chronic health conditions access the nutritious foods they need to support their health.
Through partnerships with local healthcare providers and the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, eligible individuals who receive a Prescription Pantry referral can visit participating food pantries once each week. As a participating pantry, we receive additional nutritious foods specifically selected to support individuals with chronic health conditions.
By bringing healthcare and food assistance together, the Prescription Pantry Program makes healthy food an important part of an individual's care plan. If you think you may qualify, speak with a participating healthcare provider about receiving a Prescription Pantry referral, then contact the us to schedule your intake appointment.
