​Food Closet Voucher
​For the most access to food assistance, you can obtain a Food Closet voucher directly from us. To get started, please call (775) 782-3711 to schedule an appointment with our Client Intake Specialist.

🔹 Washoe Tribe Members – You may also contact Washoe Tribal Social Services to receive a food voucher.

With a voucher, you’ll have access to a wide selection of food items at the Food Closet each month. Additionally, you may receive hygiene products, household essentials, and pet food when available. Weekly food fills are also offered as resources allow.

✅ Income Guidelines: None
✅ Residency Requirement: Must reside in Douglas County, NV or Alpine County, CA
✅ Food Assistance Frequency: Monthly food fill + weekly food fills as resources allow
✅ Hours of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
