​Food Closet Voucher

For the most frequent access to food assistance you can get a Food Closet voucher directly from us.  Please call (775) 783-3711 and make an appointment with our Client Intake Specialist.   If you are a member of the Washoe Tribe you can reach out to Washoe Tribal Social Services to obtain a food voucher.  

With a voucher, you will have access to all of the products available at the food closet on a monthly/weekly basis. You can also receive hygiene products, household products, and pet food as available.

Age Requirement: None
Income Guideline: None
Residency Requirement: You must live in Douglas County, NV or Alpine County, CA
Frequency: You can use your voucher on a weekly basis
Hours: 12:30- 4:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
