As the situation in our community continues to change, we want to let you know that we are open for regular service at this time. We have altered our distribution method to limit exposure time for our volunteers and recipients. We are taking our cues from the CDC and Feeding America network to ensure that our recipients and volunteers are provided for in a safe manner.
In addition to our regular service, we have collaborated with Backpack Buddies to provide their food bag (ranging from 10- to 12-pounds) of non-perishable food for seven meals over the weekend to families with school aged children.

Food
We are still accepting donations of refrigerated, frozen, and shelf stable items, M, T, W, and F from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. All items must be unopened, unused, and have ingredients on the label. We are unable to receive home-made products such as jams, jellies, bakery goods, etc. We CAN accept fresh home-grown vegetables and fruit as well as eggs from your chickens. Funds We are in need of funds to purchase items such as fresh produce and pantry staples (rice, pasta, beans, etc.) Due to the current crisis, our usual store donations are down which is limiting daily access to the items just mentioned. The Food Closet can use funds to purchase these items through our food network. Supplies Like others, we are in need of the following items to help with operations:

If you are healthy and physically able to lift up to 40 lbs. contact us with your name and phone number via email if possible. In order to keep social distancing we will be creating a call list to call in new volunteers as needed.
